Urban Outlook bridges the gap between city planners and real estate developers. By sharing your city's incentive zones (such as TIF districts, QCTs, and city-owned land), you can effectively solicit targeted development and showcase opportunities to a broader audience.

How to Share Data

Once approved, you will receive an Access Key that lets you manage your data via our Map Editor. You have three powerful ways to share data:

Draw: Draw shapes manually on the map and configure their properties.
Drag & Drop: Instantly drag and drop GeoJSON files or Zipped Shapefiles onto the map. They'll parse securely in your browser so you can verify them before uploading!
ArcGIS Sync (Coming Soon): Paste your ArcGIS REST Service URL to have our system periodically auto-sync your active map layers in the background!

Note on Large Datasets: If you drop a shapefile containing hundreds of features, visually rendering them can significantly lock up your browser's map editor. Urban Outlook automatically detects heavy files and provides a Direct Upload bypass—allowing you to safely push massive datasets immediately to your active database without any rendering lag.
